Letter From our Head of School
Dear GADCA Families,
Welcome to Destinations Career Academy of Georgia (GADCA), a tuition-free online public school. As a statewide school for Georgia middle and high school students, our career-focused program provides a tailored education experience for every student.
Our school uses the rich, high-quality K12 curriculum to prepare students for a future career, postsecondary education, or both. Students demonstrate their knowledge and skills through state standardized tests.
When you enroll in our school, you work with a team of experienced, caring educators. Our Georgia-certified teachers work with you to monitor your student’s progress, attendance, and content mastery while providing professional insight, instruction, and support.
As GADCA’s head of school, I’m committed to nurturing excellence in teaching and learning. I previously served as the academic administrator for GADCA during its inaugural year, and I champion the value of an effective virtual learning environment. My emphasis on building robust relationships with families and the community underscores my commitment to effective teaching and learning practices.
Currently in my 26th year as an educator, I’m actively pursuing a doctorate in curriculum and instruction. I hold a master’s degree in school administration and leadership, and my certifications span elementary education, school administration and leadership, and curriculum and instructional supervision.
