Which grades are offered by Destinations Career Academy of Georgia?
Destinations Career Academy of Georgia (GADCA) is an accredited online public charter school currently enrolling full-time students in grades 6–10 for the 2024–2025 academic school year. We will add one additional grade level per year until we serve all students in grades 6–12.
Who is eligible to apply?
Students must reside in the state of Georgia. To enroll for the 2024–2025 academic school year, students must be entering grades 6–10.*
How many students are accepted into the school?
GADCA is a public school and all students who wish to enroll are admitted, subject to the enrollment requirements listed on the How to Enroll page. Enrollment applications are date/time stamped and processed in the order in which the forms are received.
What is the attendance policy?
All students enrolled for the entire school year must attend 180 instructional days per school year. The total instructional days are prorated based on the student’s start date.
What are the location and age restrictions?
Students must be residents of the state of Georgia and must be entering grades 6–9 when enrolling for the 2023–2024 academic school year. We will add one additional grade level per year until we serve all students in grades 6–12. Students must also be able to demonstrate completion of their previous coursework through official transcript or homeschool portfolios.

Does my child need a computer to attend?
Yes. However, based on financial need and eligibility, GADCA may loan one computer per student to support the learning process upon request. One printer per family may also be supplied. These computer systems are instructional property and must be returned at the end of each school year.
