Enrollment and Attendance FAQs

Destinations Career Academy of Georgia (GADCA) is an accredited online public charter school that enrolled full-time students in grades 6–10 for the 2024–2025 academic school year.

Students must reside in the state of Georgia. To be enrolled for the 2024–2025 academic school year, students must be entering grades 6–10.*

GADCA is a public school and all students who wish to enroll are admitted, subject to the enrollment requirements listed on the How to Enroll page. Enrollment applications are date/time stamped and processed in the order in which the forms are received.

All students enrolled for the entire school year must attend 180 instructional days per school year. The total instructional days are prorated based on the student’s start date.

Students must be residents of the state of Georgia and must be entering grades 6–10 when enrolling for the 2024–2025 academic school year. Students must also be able to demonstrate completion of their previous coursework through official transcript or homeschool portfolios.

We are no longer enrolling for the 2024-2025 school year.

Yes. However, based on financial need and eligibility, GADCA may loan one computer per student to support the learning process upon request. One printer per family may also be supplied. These computer systems are instructional property and must be returned at the end of each school year.
